China has now increases their online population to 538 million Internet users. This increase is driven by the rapid growth in wireless Web surfing, according to the industry group.
It is said of the China Internet Network Information Center, this latest figure represents an 11 percent increase from a year stats. The group reported that the growth was contributed by the Internet usage rise to 39.9 percent. The report also stated that the number of people who use the Internet through their mobile phones and other wireless devices went up to 388 million with the equivalent of 22 percent increase from last year. The report shared that the China?s communist government encourages using the Internet for business and education but they still block access to offensive materials. And the authorities tighten their controls after the social networking and websites.
